Moderate/High – once vegetation has matured, it can significantly help with slope stability, reducing landslide risk; can also reduce soil erosion and absorb excess water, reducing surface runoff
Moderate – although vegetation can be added as needed, moving or altering established deep-rooted vegetation may decrease slope stability and create cascading impacts in other areas
Ensure equitable siting of measures across a range of equity areas, based on greatest need.
